For my first oil painting, I choose a beautiful landscape with a hut on the shore of a Norwegian's lake. I should be patient, oil has its own times (but forget mistakes), it is not like watercolor...

Pura Sangre

En la curva del hipódromo, los cascos de los caballos golpean el suelo empujándolos hacia adelante. Me encantan los caballos y la acción.

In a curve of the hippodrome,  horses' hooves hit the soil pushing them forward. I love horses and action.

Patos - Ducks

Acuarela de mi gato (también tengo una gata). Se llama Peuque Niños, pero como suele sucederle a quién tiene nombres tan complicados, lo llamamos Tito.

My cat's watercolor (also I have a female). His name is Peuque Niños, but as it usually happens to the bearers of so complicated names, we call him Tito.

Criollos

Esta acuarela fue la primera en la que reuní dos de mis pasiones: caballos y acción. Me impresionaron la serenidad de los jinetes y sus caballos que, en medio de una nube de polvo, cargan sobre el novillo con la seguridad que dá la repetición de una tarea habitual.

In this watercolor,  I put together two of my passions; horses and action. I got impressed by the calm of riders and horses, who in middle of the dust, charge over the calf with the confidence resulting of the repetition of an usual labor.
